Quick answers

Is Listen Now Radio free?

Downloading it and listening is free, and it’s supported by ads. Premium is optional: it starts with a 3-day free trial and then renews weekly until you cancel. Premium gives you unlimited favourites, your full listening history, background and lock-screen playback, a sleep timer, and no ads. The price for your region is shown in the App Store before you confirm.

How do I cancel Premium?

On your iPhone, open Settings, tap your name at the top, then Subscriptions, and cancel Listen Now Radio there. Cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends to avoid being charged. Cancellation is handled entirely by Apple — we can’t do it for you.

A station won’t play.

Internet radio streams are servers run by the broadcasters themselves, so a station can go offline, move, or be temporarily overloaded without warning. Check your connection, then try another station — if a stream stays broken for days, email us the station name and we’ll look at the listing.

Why is the wrong song showing, or no song at all?

The track name comes from the station’s own stream. Not every broadcaster sends it, and some send a placeholder or the name of an ad instead. When there’s nothing usable, the app shows the station’s name, genre and country. The star rating tells you which stations are dependable about this before you tune in.

Playback stopped when I switched apps.

Playing in the background and on the lock screen is a Premium feature. On the free tier, keep Listen Now Radio in the foreground while you listen.

How do I use it in the car?

Plug in or connect to CarPlay and Listen Now Radio appears with Favorites, Recents and Browse tabs plus a Now Playing screen. Star the stations you want before you drive — Favorites is the fastest tab to reach on the road.

What do the stars next to a station mean?

A 1–5 rating that mixes the stream’s audio bitrate (320 kbps and up is marked HD) with how reliably the station reports the track it’s playing. Settings has filters to prioritise HD stations, or to favour stations with dependable track info.

Which devices does it run on?

iPhone, running iOS 26 or later, plus CarPlay. There’s also an App Clip, so someone can hear a station from a link without installing the app first.
